The Past 2 Months...

Whew...time sure does fly! The past 2 months have been busy!

May was crazy with end of school year activities for Tyler (here we are at his 8th grade graduation)...

Mother's Day...

Memphis in May BBQ Fest!

Memorial Day...

and Jackson's B-day! (Meredith's boyfriend) ...they are just too cute!

The beginning of June the kids transitioned from a home daycare to a christian pre-school! It was sad to leave Mary Jane, but time to move up. Meredith takes after her mommy and is the social butterfly. She loves it! Will loves it, too. M's vocabulary is unbelievable..she learns more and more everyday! This is Meredith with her Minnie Mouse backpack on her 1st day. She showed EVERYONE.

Here is Will on the way in his new big boy car seat!

On June 12, Moose turned 1. I can't believe how fast the year went by! It was a little sad for me, too, just knowing that he won't be a baby much longer, and that I won't be birthing anymore 11lb. babies. We had a party with family with a Moose theme. I know we won't be able to call him Moose much longer, so I thought I would go all out with Moose invites, a Moose cake, and Moose cookies. There was some drama with the cake and cookies--but I'm over it, and won't go there. Maybe one day I'll tell you.

We had a family vacay in Orange Beach--minus the little ones. They stayed with my mom. Looking back, I wish we had taken Meredith. I think she would have loved it. Will would have been eating all the sand--he is just too little. But definitely next year we'll take everyone + a babysitter! We came back a day early b/c I missed them soooooo much!

So things have calmed down a bit for now. But I'm always looking to start a project. I've got my eye set on my kitchen....watch out. I have a plan! In researching my plan--I have come across many blogs that have inspired me! (Specifically Thrifty Decor Chick and the Nester) I have posted them under my favorite blogs. I feel that ThriftyDecorChick is my long lost sister!! She has validated that my need to (re)paint everything, and re-decorate every month (on a budget), and change window treatments every month does NOT make me crazy!! I'm not the only one!

More to come....
